Acacia

Aleph Gimel Chapter

The Acacia International Fraternity was founded in 1904 as a Masonic fraternity, and still holds strong ties to Free Masonry. We first chartered on CU campus over 100 years ago in 1911, making us one of the oldest fraternities at CU. Academics are always put as the first priority as an Acacian. We are active on campus in intramurals such as flag football, basketball, and softball. We embody our motto, "Human Service", by actively participating in numerous philanthropy and service projects within the Boulder community, including Hill cleanups, homeless outreach, and our own Acacia Clause toy drive every Fall. Our house is the most recently built and largest Fraternity house on campus, located at 1715 Aurora Avenue. Brotherhood is a huge part of our lives, and it is what makes us so successful in the classroom and in life. We are seeking well rounded, successful men to take strong leadership positions and to be active on campus and within the Greek community.

Alpha Delta Phi

Rocky Mountain Chapter

The Rocky Mountain chapter of the Alpha Delta Phi was founded in Spring 2016 and is a medium-sized Fraternity on the hill. Our international fraternity remains the fifth oldest fraternity ever, founded in 1832 at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York by Samuel Eells. Founded as a literary society, it evolved into one of the most distinguished of the original American college fraternities. It has retained its focus on its literary roots, by attracting only the best students at only the more prestigious colleges and universities in Canada and the United States. The Alpha Delta Phi experience has helped a disproportionate number of its 50,000 lifelong members to become top leaders in industry, government, education, and religion. We pride our chapter in particular for fostering a fantastic college experience as well as strong bonds to all its brothers and alumni.

Founded in 1914 at Syracuse University, APD is the first and only Italian heritage fraternity in America. Joining our brotherhood means joining a network of over 20,000 alumni and 45 active chapters.

Alpha Tau Omega

Special Interest Group

Founded in 1865, the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity has become one of the most extensive Greek Life organizations in the nation. Founded three days before COVID hit Boulder in 2019, the Nexus Chapter of ATΩ in Boulder is one of the fastest-growing fraternities on campus. As the National Leadership Fraternity, ATΩ is constantly striving to develop college men into the premier frontrunners both CU and the United States need. Every brother consistently lives the Creed, but specifically the line, “To know no North, no South, no East, no West, but to know man as man”. Every member of the Fraternity can recite it, and it establishes a standard for what ATΩ‘s honor is, including the uniqueness and value of every Brother. Embracing each other’s differences has allowed us to bind like no other on campus. Every semester, we conduct philanthropy events, donating to organizations like Sister Carmen, a local food bank, and charity. Last semester, we held a flag football intermural team and we expect this to be a tradition for semesters to come. During this next semester, our chapter hopes to officially charter and become recognized in the nationwide brotherhood of Alpha Tau Omega.

Delta Kappa Epsilon

Associate Member

Originally founded in 1844 at Yale University we have a long, rich history. A Delta Kappa Epsilon brother is always a gentleman, scholar, and a jolly-good fellow, emphasizing the balance of work and social life. Here at CU Boulder, we have built a very strong, tight-knit brotherhood with a wide variety of majors including business, engineering, genetics, finance, political science, environmental studies, and more. We balance philanthropy, social events, community service, and school work. As a smaller chapter, we are growing steadily, allowing for each individual to know each of their fellow brothers very well. Becoming a member is undoubtedly the most unique and rewarding experience you can have during your career at CU.

Kappa Alpha Order was founded in 1865 in Lexington Virginia. We became a provisional chapter in 2020 and were officially chartered at CU in 2022 making us one of the newer chapters on campus. Despite only being on campus for three semesters, we have grown to over 90 members, making us one of the fastest growing KA chapters nationally and on the hill. As a fraternity, we are driven by a moral compass including brotherhood, leadership, gentility, excellence, reverence, and knowledge. Academics are of the utmost importance and we require a 2.7 GPA to be an active member. We pride ourselves in our mentorship program which connects older brothers to younger brothers to assist them with anything ranging from schoolwork and classes to hobbies such as art or fitness. As a chapter, we value philanthropy, community service, and being a respectful gentlemen to everyone. We have a diverse set of interests as a chapter but all hold our KA values in high regard. Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI)

Beta Kappa Chapter

Phi Gamma Delta, commonly known as FIJI or Phi Gam, is a social fraternity with more than 158 active chapters and 13 colonies across the United States and Canada. It was founded at Jefferson College, Pennsylvania, in 1848. Our beliefs: Phi Gamma Delta has chosen not to use the term alumni for members who have graduated; post-collegiate members are referred to as Graduate Brothers, to imply that membership extends past the undergraduate experience. Similarly, one of the mottoes used by the organization is, "Not For College Days Alone".Phi Gamma Delta's mission statement lists five core values for its members: friendship, knowledge, service, morality, and excellence. In addition, members are encouraged to live by three priorities in a specific order: first, scholarship, second, fraternity, and third, self. This ordering is because members attend university with the foremost goal of receiving an education and that Phi Gamma Delta is a fraternity that promotes scholastic achievement amongst its members.
